Following the success of our last holiday get-together BBQ in Bonython Park, we have listened to the feed back from parents and students and planned another day out!
Since it is now winter and quite cold and wet, we have opted for an indoor setting this time.
Please join us for an afternoon of bowling at Woodville Bowls!
Date: Saturday 19 July
Time: 2pm-4pm
Place: Woodville Bowls, Port Road.
Cost: $19.90 per person for 2 rounds of bowling including 5 tokens for the games area.
Please let us know if you can make it so we can make arrangements for how many lanes we will need.
You can bring along friends and family too! The more the merrier!
The rain held off, the sun came out and the sausages and souvlakia were sizzling today at Bonython Park. Family and friends of the Greek Lyceum gathered together for a social picnic at the Bonython Park play space and BBQ area. It was a wonderful afternoon spent sharing food, stories and a quite a few laughs! As the photos testify, great fun was had by all! Can't wait for the next occasion!

Their Name Liveth for Evermore
They shall grow not old,
as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them,
nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun
and in the morning,
We will remember them
Tonight on the 24th April 2014, the Greek Lyceum of South Australia represented the Greek Community at the ANZAC Eve Youth Vigil held at the War Memorial on North Terrace.

While it's still BBQ weather, let's fire up the grill , spread out a few blankets and enjoy an afternoon together! A BBQ Picnic is planned for Saturday, 26th April at 1:00 pm at Bonython Park. This will give us (students, teachers, parents and friends) a chance to get to know each even better over a sausage or two! Everyone is welcome!
Bring a picnic rug, picnic food and lots of kefi!
Location
The BBQ Picnic will be held at the Bonython Park playspace. This is next to the Bonython Park kiosk and has playgrounds, BBQs and oval space. Enter off Port road and follow signs to the kiosk.
Parking Details
The Silvers Circus is on at Bonython Park and while located in a different area of Bonython Park to the BBQ area, it may place additional pressure on car parking. There is the standard car parking near the oval, but if that is full, car parking is available at the netball courts at the park opposite Coca-Cola. During the time when the Circus is, this area is turned into a U Park, but if you go there and let them know you wish to use the playground facilities and not the circus, then entry into that car park should be free.
Senior Group starts next Monday, 31st March 2014. Classes will run fortnightly on Monday nights from 8:15 - 9:45 pm at St Richard's Hall. (Details here)
Curriculum will be based on regions of Greece with a set list of dances each fortnight. Come and join in the dancing, brush up on your stkills and re-kindle your love of dance and culture.
The senior group is open to everyone, but of course all past students are invited to return.
We hope to see you there!
