Celebrating 25 years in 2018

The Greek Lyceum School of Greek Dance and Culture is an important part of the S.A. Community’s cultural scene; it is recognised consistently by the SA Government for its cultural and artistic endeavours in South Australia; all Lyceum members (staff, adult students, parents and carers of students) past and present, have worked hard and take immense pride in the school’s achievements since its inception in 1993.

2018 marks the 25th anniversary of the Greek Lyceum. Over that time, there have been some great times, wonderful performances, long lasting friendships and fond memories.

The 25th Anniversary Celebrations kicked off with the 2017 Dinner Dance performance, which gave attendees of the function a glimpse of some of the most loved dances over the 25 years, and also a taste of the long anticipated 2018 25th Anniversary Concert.

The 25th Anniversary Concert, held in 2018, included all the students of the school and showcased a wide range of dancers, as the audience was taken on an audio and visual journey through mainland Greece, the islands, Asia Minor and the Contemporary Era.
