2022 Quiz Night
/On Saturday 22nd October 2022 the Greek Lyceum held its first ever Quiz Night. The night was a great success, hosting over 120 people for a fun filled evening. Quizzes included our theme for 2022 - The Greek Summer.
The Quiz Night was held to bring our community together to celebrate Summer on the Greek Islands in our own backyard as many in our community who would usually go home to their Summer houses have been unable to travel the last few years. So the Greek Lyceum brought the Greek Summer to Adelaide!
With funding assistance from the Department for Premier and Cabinet, Multicultural SA, the Greek Lyceum was able to hold this fundraising event. The cabaret-style night included quizzes, games, dance performances and dancing! We would like to thank the Department of Premier and Cabinet Multicultural Affairs for the generous funding through the grant program ‘Celebrate Together’.
The night was such a success that feedback from our guests was that they can’t wait for the next Quiz Night from the Greek Lyceum. Attendees said that it was the best quiz night they’ve ever been to, they had the most fun in years and the night was well organised, flowed smoothly and was both entertaining and informative.
It looks like this event will become a staple in the Greek Lyceum social calendar!
